Hi everyone. I’m sorry, but our class has been cancelled since we only had 7 students registered. You’ll need to go find another class to take.

8/22 Syllabus and First Day Email

Welcome to Rock & Popular Music! I hope we will have a fun semester together (assuming we get a few more students). In the meantime, you have a few things to do before Thursday.

• Please read the Syllabus linked to at the top of the page. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about it.
• Please send me an email to tell my a little about yourself and the music you listen to. It doesn’t have to be long. Here are some questions to answer.
  • What music do you like?
  • What music do you hate?
  • What topics would you to like cover in this class?
  • Do you have any questions or concerns about the syllabus or anything else about the class?
• Be prepared to discuss what topics you would like to cover over the next few weeks on Thursday.
• Please help find others to take this class, so we can do it. If each of you got one more person to register, we would reach the threshold. I talked with the department chair, and we have until Friday to get enough students, but we’ll make sure to confirm early enough, so that you have time to register for a different class if needed. I will be touch via email if anything changes before class on Thursday. Unless you hear otherwise, plan on having class that day.
